This two-day, eight-hour program provides a comprehensive introduction to the fundamentals of metallic cartridge reloading, with a strong emphasis on safety, legal responsibilities, and quality-control practices. From there, the course explores potential hazards, risk management strategies, and proper handling and storage techniques for reloading components. A review of state and federal regulations ensures that participants understand the legal responsibilities that come with reloading ammunition. Quality control is a major focus of this program. Students will also be introduced to batch-tracing methods and documentation practices that reinforce accountability and responsibility. Day two transitions into supervised equipment familiarization.
